St. Patrick's Day 5k Results
Several Bunnies donned their trusty green uni's and headed down to Torrance for the Village Runner/Coach Connelly St Patrick's Day Run. Near perfect running conditions, a fast course and some soilid cash for top-3 drew out a fairly solid field and from the gun it was pretty clear who was going for the money as 6 guys (3 for the 5k and 3 for the 10k) took off well under 5:00 for mile 1. The Bunnies hung back early and moved up a bit in the 2nd half and a wrong turn by the 5k leaders made it a closer race, but the Bunnies finished out of the money.
Damian was first across the line in 16:04 and was quickly followed by Tyson (16:08) and LBTM (16:14) taking 5th, 6th and 7th places. Foote ran his usual cagey, controlled race and hung out near the hot lead women and wound up 19th (17:39). The pancakes at Original Pancake House in Redondo made it all worthwhile.
