Flory sets Depauw school record in 3000m
May 7th, 2004 at the Billy Hayes Invitational in Bloomington, Indiana:
Simon Flory finished second in the 3000-meter run in a school-record 8:27.79, while Graham Wellman placed third in 8:35.85.
Flory's season best in the 3k steeplechase (9:11.17) is currently 11th fastest in the nation among NCAA Div. III athletes. He'll finish up his collegiate career in the steeplechase at the NCAAs next weekend (May 27-29, 2004) at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill.
